In the beginning I focused on learning all the basics and simply developing my driving. I’m a quick learner, and soon the speed was there. I decided to join the competition races, and in the first season, I did three rounds of the South Swedish Kart Champion Cup (SKCC), Gothenburg Grand Prix and the Grand Finale in Kristianstad.
I quickly realized that being a part of a team was essential for my capability to develop further and faster. I definitely needed technical support, but I also needed driving coaching to take the next steps and evolve my race craft. That’s why joined the famous Swedish karting team Ward Racing during the summer of 2021.
The 2022 season took off in February where I participated in a six-day long training camp on the Spanish Campillos track – an event arranged by RS Competition. It was an awesome and very instructive experience where I focused on corner techniques, starts and data analyzing for better performance on track.
